Cobblestone Pub

On Saturday I decided to go on a mini-trek to Victoria and take the scenic route through Cowichan Bay and Cobble Hill. The day was beautiful! I recently heard the Cobblestone Pub sold "Lucky" stansfields and I wanted to confirm this for myself. It is true. They come in various sizes and sell for $68 each! Anyways, the Cobblestone Pub is found in the heart of Cobble Hill a quaint, cozy little town in between Duncan and Victoria. It's relatively easy to find, turning right off the Island Highway right by the Rona just past Duncan.
As soon as you walk into the Cobblestone the decor will jump out at you, it's warm, inviting and a pleasant atmosphere. The servers were friendly and prompt. We ordered a couple Lucky beer's (you just have to!) and a plate of hot wings. The wings were hot, meaty and arrived very quickly. I noticed how quickly customer's meals arrived, with a smile! On the back of the menu there is information on the history of the Cobblestone, since it's opening back in 1983 when a glass of beer was under a dollar! It has had many additions and grown a lot over the years. Looks like even more growth is in the future with an anticipated outdoor patio coming soon.
We were en route to Victoria but have made a plan to come back to try out one of the mouth watering entrees that were on the menu!
