I've eaten at a bunch of these places, and John's Place is by far #1!!!

Great service, food, atmosphere, and super cheap.

The Food Network recently did an episode of "You Gotta Eat Here" at John's Place:

Atlas in Courtenay, best eggs benny with potato and yam hash browns and always a huge beautiful tower for fresh fruit! And if you can fit it in the Mocha Milkshakes are heavenly.

Locals in Courtenay is good but for the most decadent brunch or breakfast John's Place in Victoria is the hands down standout!

Atlas is also a good bet!

The clay pigeon in Victoria

It's not on your list, but my vote goes to Cabin 12 in Victoria. Their Benny's are the best I've ever had(and I've had my fair share) and they have a variety of other breakfast/brunch dishes. They have developed a pretty significant following down here...

The Blue Door Cafe in Port Alberni

I think each area should be pitted only against itself... Victoria locations against each other, Parksville against each other, etc.
