Longwood Brew Pub

The Longwood Brew Pub is central Vancouver Island's first brew pub and currently the only one in Nanaimo. Serving up spectacular West Coast cuisine alongside in-house hand crafted ales and lagers in a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

The main entrance takes you into the dining room where their popular Sunday brunch is served. The downstairs is the inviting "neighborhood pub" complete with hi-def TVs, a pool table, darts and a lovely wood burning fireplace.

Sundays are my favourite days/evenings at Longwood, they offer up an amazing brunch that is very popular and they also have caesar cocktails on special (one of the best caesars around!).

The delicious Longwood caesar cocktail!
But there are some amazing drink specials everyday that are worth checking out!

You can also purchase their delicious beers at various liquor stores and beer & wines. Not to mention you can also visit their Brewery located at 2046 Boxwood Rd.

They offer many different amazing craft beers for everyone's tastes including the very popular Berried Alive (Framboise) a raspberry ale with BC raspberries and seasonal brews like the Pumpkin Full Patch ale and this Winter's Own Weizenbock.

Not only does the Longwood create some amazing craft beers, they also offer up some delicious food to go along with their brews.

Plenty of gluten-free options, appetizers, salads (try the brewmaster if you're feeling really hungry!), amazing plump wings, great quesadillas and my personal favourite the fish taco trio stuffed with citrus slaw, west coast cod, wild salmon and baby shrimp topped with their scrumptious mango pineapple salsa and chipotle mayo.

The Fish Taco Trio goes perfect with the SteamPunk Dunkelweizen!

The Longwood Brew Pub is located 5775 Turner Rd. They are open 7 days a week 11am until midnight.

You can also connect with them on Facebook & Twitter!
